Wool/cotton socks
Description
Simple and classic, solid-colored ankle socks in Superwash Merino wool and cotton.
Merino wool is a natural wool product that comes from Merino sheep. Merino wool is temperature-regulating, warms even in wet condition and does not absorb sweat odor. This means that if the socks get wet, the feet will not get cold. In addition, the socks can be worn for a long time without them starting to smell bad.
Merino wool is also much softer and thinner than regular wool, which provides great opportunities to produce thinner socks.
A disadvantage of wool products is that it scratches a bit, but here mpDenmark uses a special technique where a layer of cotton is knitted into the inside of the sock so that the sock feels soft against the skin. This gives you a very soft and comfortable sock that does not scratch, but at the same time all the good properties of Merino wool.
Finally, the Merino wool that mpDenmark uses for the socks has been given a so-called Superwash treatment, which makes it possible to wash the socks at 30° in a washing machine.
